Get ready for another big dose of comedy with the star cast of Housefull 5. The makers have confirmed that the film will hit the theatres from September 15.
Akshay Kumar will also star in the fifth installment, which is slated to release next year. The film will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, which guarantees a hilarious film for the audience.
In the last few installments, the cast was predominantly male, however, the makers this time have roped in an equal number of female lead characters which include Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangda Singh and Soundarya Sharma.
The cast will reportedly begin the 45-day shoot from September 15 in London as the initial scenes will be set in the bustling city. Then, the entire house will come crashing down and laughing aboard the cruise ship. To make the latest film even more exciting, the makers have increased the supporting cast to add to the madness of the film.
Plot and filming
The story of the film has been kept under wraps, however, some sources claimed that the franchise will continue the legacy of the previous installments such as mistaken identities, humorous situations, and over-the-top comedy. The latest installment will have some unexpected twists to keep the audience glued to the screen.
A new direction for the franchise
The makers have roped in a new director for the fifth installment. The Housefull 5 will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani, who is known for his cinematic vision and creative storytelling. He has directed films like Dostana and My Name is Khan. Mansukhani is expected to continue the legacy of the Housefull franchise from a different perspective.

Apart from Akshay Kumar, who will have distinctive traits just like in the previous parts like his iconic character from ‘Sandy and Sundi’, the film will also have other cast members like Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Nana Patekar, Chunky Pandey, Jackie Shroff and Dino Morea are also part of the film.
Housefull 5 will have an exciting female cast, including bigwigs like Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangda Singh and Soundarya Sharma.
