UPSSSC VDO Result: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has released the result of the examination held for recruitment to the posts of Village Development Officer, Gram Panchayat Officer and Supervisor. Candidates can check the result by visiting https://upsssc.gov.in. Post-wise, category-wise and as per the preference given by the candidates, 1526 candidates for a total of 1527 vacant posts of Gram Panchayat Officer, 360 candidates for a total of 362 vacant posts of Village Development Officer and 64 candidates for 64 vacant posts of Social Welfare Supervisor have been selected. The final selection of the candidates has been made. Their cut-off has also been released. Following the directions of the High Court, the Commission has kept one post of OBC category vacant for the post of Gram Panchayat Officer.
Around 14 lakhs had applied for this recruitment. In the year 2018, the Subordinate Services Selection Commission had invited applications for a total of 1953 posts including 1557 Gram Panchayat Officer posts, 362 Village Development Officer posts and 64 Supervisor posts. Let us tell you that this exam was conducted in December 2018 and its result was also declared in August 2019. But as soon as the results of the exam were released, there were many complaints of rigging. The state government constituted a SIT in March 2020 to investigate the entire matter. It was cancelled after the SIT confirmed rigging. This exam was again held in June 2023.
