On receiving information that there were cattle in the basement, a crowd of locals gathered at the spot. This area falls under the Civil Line assembly constituency. In such a situation, Civil Line MLA Gopal Sharma also reached the spot. The police were called to the spot. After this, he went to the basement and saw that the cattle were lying dead. The ruckus increased when the cattle were found dead. People demonstrated demanding action against the owner of the building.

The corporation sealed off the building, preparing to launch the bulldozer.

In the presence of the MLA and policemen, the dead cattle were removed by the Municipal Corporation employees. Following this, Civil Lines MLA Gopal Sharma directed the corporation officials to investigate the construction of the building. The investigation found that the building was constructed without the permission of the corporation. Following this, JCB was also called to the spot to demolish the building immediately. During this time, when the local people protested against the action of demolishing the building, the demolition was stopped. The corporation has sealed that building.

MLA said: Bulldozer will work, if not today, then tomorrow

Due to opposition from local people, the bulldozer was not used in the building on Thursday night. Speaking to the media, BJP MLA Gopal Sharma said that the dead cow was found on the ground floor of the building. That building is built against the rules. The person constructing the building against the rules has been served notice and the building has also been sealed. He said that it is an illegal construction and it will have to be demolished. If not today, then tomorrow the bulldozer will be used.

Cows have been killed, strict measures will be taken

Speaking to the media, BJP MLA Gopal Sharma said that dead cattle were found in a tank constructed in the basement of a three-storey building. The cow cannot reach the place where it was found by walking. In such a situation, it is certain that the cattle have been brought here and slaughtered. Gopal Sharma said that people who kill cows will not be spared under any circumstances. Strict action will be taken against those who are found guilty.
