NEET PG 2024 controversy: Supreme Court to hear plea today on normalisation process and transparency of results

He Supreme Court A petition filed by the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination is scheduled to be heard, NEET PG Exam 2024 candidates today. The candidates who presented themselves in NEET Program The exams have raised concerns over the transparency of the results as well as the standardisation process followed by the NBE. The petition was filed on September 7 and a three-judge bench, comprising Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, Justice Manoj Misra and Justice JB Pardiwala, will hear the matter today.
In the petition, the students have requested SC to direct the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to publish the following: answer key of all shifts, answer sheets, raw and pre-normalized scores, normalized results.
The petitioners have expressed their concern and have pointed out that NEET The counselling process for PG 2024 should be suspended until these issues are addressed. The petitioners believe that publication of NEET PG answer keys and question papers should be made a standard practice to ensure transparency.
NBEMS will adopt AIIMS’ INI-CET scoring method for NEET PG Result
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the NEET PG result on 23rd August 2024. The counselling schedule is yet to be announced. Students are eagerly waiting for the counselling schedule to proceed with the admissions.
