RRB NTPC 2024: Registration for postgraduate seats to begin tomorrow; know where to apply, check notification

RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024: The online registration process for graduate level posts under Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) recruitment will begin from tomorrow, September 24. Application forms will be accepted till October 13 at rrbapply.gov.in.

The short notification was published in Employment News. The detailed notifications (CEN 05/2024 and CEN 06/2024) are expected to be published soon on the websites of Railway Recruitment Boards (RRCBs) and on the website of Railway Recruitment Control Board (RRCB) rrcb.gov.in.

According to the brief notification, the selection process will fill 11,558 vacancies at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. While the application period for postgraduate posts will be open from September 14 to October 13, for undergraduate posts, the application process will begin on September 21 and end on October 20.

RRB NTPC 2024: Vacancy Details

Of the 11,558 vacancies notified, 8,113 are for graduate level posts and 3,445 for undergraduate level posts. See more details below:

Graduate level positions

Sales manager and ticket supervisor: 1,736 vacancies

Station manager: 994 vacancies

Freight train manager: 3,144 vacancies

Junior Accounting Assistant and Typist: 1,507 vacancies

Administrative assistant and typist: 732 vacancies

Total: 8,113

Undergraduate level positions

Sales assistant for ticket sales: 2,022 vacancies

Accounting Assistant and Typist: 361 vacancies

Administrative assistant and typist: 990 vacancies

Train attendant: 72 vacancies

Total: 3,445

To know the post-wise eligibility criteria, age limit and other important details, candidates should wait for the detailed notification.

To apply for the exam, candidates from SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Women, PwBD, Transgender, Minorities and Economically Backward Class (EBC) categories are required to pay 250. All other candidates must pay an application fee of 500.

Upon appearing for the Computer-Based Test (CBT), candidates will receive a partial refund of the application fee (after deduction of bank charges).
