In accordance with the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) of Eastern Railway (ER) is accepting online applications for Act Apprentices to be trained in workshops and divisions of Eastern Railway. Interested applicants who meet the eligibility requirements can apply online at rrcer.org, the official website of RRC-ER.
Please note that the application window will open at 11:00 am on September 24 and will remain open till 5:00 pm on October 23. Candidates can expect to receive a monthly salary of approximately Rs 10,000 upon selection.

Eastern Railway 2024: Eligibility Requirements
The candidate must also possess a National Trade Certificate in the specific trade issued by NCVT/SCVT, as well as have passed the 10th grade examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with at least 50% of the total qualifying marks from a recognized Board. As per the deadline for receiving applications, persons must be at least 15 years of age and not older than 24.
Eastern Railway: Selection process
All qualified candidates applying in response to the notification will be evaluated on merit before being selected for a training post in a unit of Eastern Railway. The information provided by the candidates in the online application form will be used to compile the merit list.
A merit list of qualified applicants will be created by averaging the percentage of marks each candidate obtained in the ITI examination and the Matriculation examination, with a minimum of 50% (in total) marks. Both will be given equal weightage.
