Government decision on free rations: A big decision has come out from the central and state governments for the consumers receiving PDS ration. The government said that consumers can purchase ration from any fair price shop. Now consumers can take ration from any fair price shop as per their convenience on the basis of biometric verification. In case the POS machine breaks down or the shop is closed, the beneficiaries can collect the ration from another shop.
Let us tell you that while giving more details about the decision, the government said that there is no need to shift the shop even if there is a change of residence. In August, 34,682 families from MP took foodgrains to other states through portability. 3,647 families from other states took PDS foodgrains from Madhya Pradesh. 14 lakh 40,966 families from MP took foodgrains from the state’s own portabilities.

How to apply for a ration card online?
First, visit the official Ration Card website.
Select the Login and Register option.
Click on the Public Login option.

Finally, click the submit button.
