All senior and junior officers of the South Eastern Railway Zone and Chakradharpur Railway Division camped at Tatanagar. The station decoration work continued on a war footing for 10 days. Security was increased on the railway station premises and on the platforms.

PM Modi to flag off several Vande Bharat trains on September 15
The Prime Minister will flag off Vande Bharat trains from Tatanagar railway station in Jamshedpur on September 15. Apart from this, he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate projects worth around Rs 21,000 crore. Programmes of the Rural Development Department and the Agriculture Department will also be launched.

Before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival, the look of Tatanagar railway station has been completely changed. South Eastern Railway General Manager Anil Kumar Mishra and DRM Arun J Rathore are themselves looking after the station’s arrangements.

The utmost care has been taken in cleaning the station. The platform has been painted from ceiling to wall. The waiting area has been newly developed. New chairs have been installed. The pedestrian bridge has also been painted. Cleaning is being monitored via CCTV.
Fences were removed from inside and outside the station.
All the hoardings have been removed from Tatanagar Railway Station from the parking area to the station. These have been removed as they spoil the look of the station and for safety reasons. All the old LED TVs have been removed from platform number one. For safety reasons, all the fans have also been removed.
The Prime Minister will travel directly from Sonari Airport to Jamshedpur Railway Station.
After stopping the Vande Bharat trains at Tatanagar railway station, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also address a public meeting at Gopal Maidan. Preparations are underway to warmly welcome the Prime Minister at both the places. From Sonari airport, the PM will reach Tatanagar railway station directly. After stopping the Vande Bharat trains here, Gopal will proceed to Maidan. From here we will proceed to Sonari airport and then to Ranchi.
