Preparation without any training.
Due to his financial condition, Srinath was unable to afford the coaching fees, so he decided to prepare for UPSC by self-study without taking any coaching. At the station where he was working as a coolie, he used to study in his free time using the free WiFi of the station. He used to sit there day and night preparing notes for himself. His financial condition was so weak that he could not even afford to pay for himself. He could not even buy study material.

This is how I achieved success in UPSC
Srinath made four attempts for UPSC, he was unsuccessful in the first three attempts but in his fourth attempt in the year 2022, he topped the UPSC exam with his brilliant performance and became IAS. Before UPSC, he had also achieved success in the Kerala Public Service Commission exam which gave him more confidence and motivated him further for UPSC. His story is inspiring for many people and is an example that if a person is determined to do something, no matter the situation, he will achieve it.
