Arjun had to receive an injection when he was 2 years old.
Arjun was to receive this injection on his second birthday on May 5, but only Rs 7 crore and 50 lakh could be raised through crowdfunding. In such a situation, the injection could not be administered due to lack of funds. However, Rs 8 crore and 50 lakh had been raised till July. Many types of tests were conducted on Arjun before the injection. It was found that the antibodies in his blood had increased significantly, but as the test came back normal on Saturday, he was given this injection when he was 28 months old. His weight is 10 kg 300 grams.
What does the doctor have to say about the disease?
Dr Priyanshu Mathur, who is treating Arjun’s disease, said that from the year 2021 till now, four children including Arjun have been given this injection in the state. The first three children are now completely healthy. The doctor said that due to this disease the child is not even able to sit properly. The treatment is given only up to 24 months of age. If too much time passes, his treatment also becomes difficult.
