The Indian cricket team will be in action from September 19 when they take on Bangladesh in the first Test of the two-match series at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The Indian team, barring Sarfaraz Khan who is playing in the Duleep Trophy, has assembled in Chennai and has begun preparations for the series. The five Test matches against Australia will not be an easy task, so India will want to win all five matches at home.

Meanwhile, India will start the series as favourites against Bangladesh but the Tigers would not be easy to beat. Bangladesh would be looking to give India a tough fight after having recently beaten Pakistan 2-0 in the Test series.
