Tentative schedule for NEET SS 2024 exam released
He National Examination Board in Medical Sciences (National Emergency Management System (NBEM)) has published the provisional schedule for NEET SS Exam 2024The National Eligibility and Admission Test for Super Specialty courses. The exam is scheduled to be held on March 29 and 30, 2025. The official notification can be found on the website natboard.edu.in.
The final examination schedule and bulletin for NEET SS 2024 will be released in due course on natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in. The bulletin will provide candidates with details such as eligibility criteria, fee structure, exam scheme and other important information.
In August, the Supreme Court dismissed a petition challenging the National Medical Commission’s (NMC) decision not to conduct the NEET SS exam in 2024. This decision followed the Supreme Court’s refusal to intervene in the NMC’s postponement of NEET SS 2024.
On August 14, the court ordered the commission to announce the exam schedule within a month and hold the exam in January 2025.
“The National Medical Commission (NMC) has attributed the postponement of NEET SS 2024 to delays in admissions for MD, MS and DMB courses through NEET PG examination in the 2021 academic session. This delay was caused by COVID-19, which resulted in the admissions for that year’s batch happening from January 2022 to May 2022 and consequently delaying the start of the new academic session. As a result, the course is now expected to conclude in January 2025. Therefore, the NMC has decided to postpone NEET SS 2024 to accommodate these circumstances.”
