Student credit card application is cancelled due to course name change

Patna. Due to the difference in name in the course, many students are unable to make payment through student credit card. Many students have also failed to pay the semester fees. The application submitted for payment of fees has also been cancelled. BAJMC students studying in colleges affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU) are facing this problem. They are unable to get the benefit of student credit card. Hundreds of children are deprived of student credit cards given to them by the state government for their studies. Earlier, the BMC (Bachelor of Mass Communication) course was run by AKU, which after changing the name of the course as per UGC guidelines, started running it in the name of BAJMC. Even today, the DRCC is providing the benefit of student credit card to BMC courses only. The application is cancelled due to the presence of BAJMC in the mark sheet. Due to the name being BAJMC in the mark sheet, the DRCC is rejecting the applications of the students. DRCC believes that there is a difference between the genuine course name given by the students and the course name in their result. The students said that in the Journalism result released by AKU, the course name was written as BA (JMC) and while applying for student credit card loan, our course name is BMC as per the university bonafide certificate and in the portal due to which the payment of their third year student credit card was cancelled.
