Before the departure of the train, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Jamshedpur MP Vidyut Varan Mahato boarded the Tata-Patna Vande Bharat train and toured two coaches. During this, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan met the loco drivers SS Munda and Ritika Hembram and congratulated them and wished them best. During this, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also met some passengers of the train. Along with the answers, the children recited different poems based on patriotism to Shivraj. On this occasion, he wished all the children a better future. Extensive security arrangements were made for the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Tatanagar station. There was maximum security at the main gate of Tatanagar station. During this time, no common person was allowed to enter through the main gate. People arriving with VIP and media passes were given entry to station number one through RMS from beside the railway station. During this time everyone was thoroughly screened. Those who had a pass for platform number two were being sent to platform number two via the FOB next to the train station. Both platforms were fully decorated.
