Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Gaurav Gupta were some of the Indian designers who made their presence felt at the 2024 Emmy Awards. Actress Laura Dern, who starred in and executive produced the film, Apple Cast members of the TV+ period drama series “Palm Royale” wore statement jewelry at Sunday’s ceremony at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.
In an Instagram post, the Sabyasachi brand shared photos of Dern wearing its jewellery on the Emmys red carpet. “Laura Dern wears earrings, bracelet and the Palm Avenue statement necklace by Sabyasachi Jewellery for the 76th Annual Emmy Awards,” the brand said.
At the event, Netflix’s Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria was seen wearing a sheer black top and a bright pink floral lehenga, crafted by Sabyasachi.
Actress and producer Mindy Kaling, known for her work on “The Office,” “The Mindy Project” and “Never Have I Ever,” chose Gupta as her go-to designer for the 76th Emmy Awards. Kaling wore a black Gaurav Gupta gown with a sculpted, off-the-shoulder detail. She shared a series of photos wearing the ensemble on Instagram, calling the dress a “dreamy dress by @gauravguptaofficial.” Actresses Rebel Wilson and Allison Janney also opted for Gupta’s designs.
