The first bilateral ODI series between Afghanistan and South Africa is all set to begin on September 18. This is a crucial series for both sides with limited-overs ODI matches scheduled before the ICC Champions Trophy in February 2025. Hashmatullah Shahidi will continue to lead Afghanistan while South Africa have also retained their captain Temba Bavuma.

Afghanistan is expected to test South Africa with their bowlers so this series is expected to be an exciting one for the fans.
