Karan Johar takes the reins as host
Karan Johar will host the show and is excited to take on this new role. In a statement, he said: “Having watched both the UK and US versions, I have become an avid fan of the format and am in awe of Claudia Winkleman and Alan Cumming, who are so wonderful in the way they present their respective shows with aplomb but with a suspenseful theatricality that leaves you on the edge of your seat.”
“I am delighted to take on the role of host of the Indian adaptation of the show. And the 20 contestants on the show will experience an unforgettable and unpredictable journey, especially since I operate in the shadows,” he added.
A game of trust and deception.
The game will feature 20 players arriving at a royal palace in the hopes of winning the cash loot accumulated through various physical and psychological quests they undertake. It will test the intellect, wits and strategic prowess of its players as they compete for the grand cash prize.
