Bengal Weather Update: The effect of low pressure is reducing over Jharkhand. It is gradually moving towards Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. As a result, the weather in South Bengal will improve. At the moment, there is no possibility of heavy rain in the districts including South Bengal. There is a possibility of light rain at one or two places. The temperature will gradually increase.
Less chance of rain until Saturday
The Met Department has said that due to cloudy skies and rain, the day and night temperatures had dropped below normal. The temperature will return to normal or above. As there is more water vapour in the air, humidity-related problems will increase. There are fewer chances of rain till Saturday.

Light rain with thunderstorm likely over North Bengal
There is a possibility of light rain with thunder in the hilly areas of North Bengal. In the rest of the district, there is no possibility of rain and it will remain partly cloudy. There is no restriction for fishermen to go out to sea now. It will be partly cloudy in Kolkata. The weather will improve. There will be less chances of rain till Friday.
Kolkata Temperature
The minimum temperature in Kolkata today, Tuesday, is 26.8 degrees Celsius. This is 0.4 degrees Celsius higher than the normal temperature. The maximum temperature on Monday was 28.1 degrees Celsius. This is 4.7 degrees Celsius lower than the normal temperature. The air contains 91 to 97 percent water vapor. In the next 24 hours, the temperature in Kolkata city will be between 26 and 31 degrees Celsius. There was 13.1 mm of rain.
