Due to this, the accused beat up Kartar Singh, his wife Bangar Bai and daughter Roshni and abducted Kartar Singh.

SDOP said that Kartar Singh’s son was having a love affair. Due to this, Kartar’s son Ram Rathore had eloped with the accused’s relative Roshni for a month. There was a dispute between both the families over this. To search for both of them, Kartar Singh and his wife had come to Irpur from Indore. The accused were roaming around the area for two days and were looking for an opportunity.
