Travelers between New Delhi and Varanasi have a new train they can choose for a faster journey between the two cities. Indian Railways’ first 20-coach train Vande Bharat The express train has begun commercial service, significantly increasing passenger capacity and reducing travel times.
Developed by Integral Coach Factory in Chennai, this new train offers 1,440 seats, a substantial increase compared to the previous 16- and 8-coach versions. This means shorter waiting lists and a better chance of getting last-minute tickets.
Replacing the previous models, these new Vande Bharat Express trains operate on the Northern Railway zone and cover a distance of 771 km in approximately 8 hours, making them the fastest option on this route.
Vande Bharat Express schedule and routes from New Delhi to Varanasi
Train 22415 (Varanasi to New Delhi): Departs Varanasi at 06:00 and arrives at 14:05.
Train 22435 (Varanasi to New Delhi): Departs Varanasi at 15:00 and arrives at 23:00.
