CM Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary, who arrived in Kaimur on a day-long visit on Wednesday, inaugurated the Maa Mundeshwari Dham complex built at a cost of Rs 10 crore on behalf of the Forest and Environment Department and the Mundeshwari Park at a cost of Rs 28.42 crore on behalf of the Environment and Climate Change Department. They inaugurated 15 projects undertaken through remote control. After the inauguration, CM Nitish Kumar, Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary and Ministers Vijay Choudhary and Mohammad Jama Khan toured the Eco Park on an e-rickshaw. After visiting the park, the CM took the blessings of darshan and worshipped the country’s oldest temple, Maa Mundeshwari Mata, situated on Paura Hill. In fact, CM Nitish Kumar is continuously striving to promote tourism in Kaimur. Under this programme, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reached Kaimur on Wednesday and inaugurated the Eco Park constructed on 13.6 acres at a cost of Rs 10.4 crore by the Environment and Climate Change Department at Maa Mundeshwari Dham. Also, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated 15 projects undertaken in the district by the Environment and Climate Change Department at a cost of Rs 28.42 crore through remote control. In this, primarily to promote tourism facilities, the Eco Park, prepared at a cost of Rs 2 crore, was inaugurated at Telhar Kund, located 30 kilometres from the district headquarters. Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Dr Prem Kumar, Minister for Labour Resources Santosh Kumar Singh, former minister Murari Prasad Gautam and many officials were present on the occasion.

To attract visitors, in the Environment and Mundeshwari Park, which was constructed on 13 acres in the Maa Mundeshwari campus by the Department of Environment and Climate Change at a cost of Rs 10 crore, there are statues of various wild animals along with an open theatre. They have been installed in the park. Trees, scaffolding, bridges, renovation of Buddha Sarovar, viewing platforms, fountains, waterfalls, lights etc. have been installed in the park. The special thing is that the open theatre constructed in the park can accommodate 300-400 people together. To maintain the greenery of the park, automatic sprinklers have also been installed throughout the park. This way the entire park can be watered. The inauguration of the Maa Mundeshwari Eco Park constructed in the Maa Mundeshwari complex will not only provide entertainment to the local people but will also give a major boost to tourism. An open-air theatre and attractive statues of forest animals have been installed in the Eco Park. Additionally, the Maa Mundeshwari Wildlife Eco Park is equipped with lush green trees and beautiful gardens.
