The rains could continue this week
The Meteorological Department has predicted that the rainy season may continue in many states of UP during this week. Scientists at the Meteorological Centre say that due to Cyclone Yagi, heavy rains may fall in many parts of the state during the next two to three days.

Heavy rain alert in many districts
The Meteorological Department has said that heavy rain is possible in many parts of UP on Wednesday. Apart from rain, strong winds may also blow. Tomorrow, i.e., September 19, there is a possibility of heavy rain and thundershowers at some places in eastern and western UP.

Due to continuous rains in UP, schools were declared closed on Wednesday. In many areas, children were expelled from schools from classes 1 to 8. Heavy rain fell in many cities of the state today, including Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Firozabad, Agra, Etawah, Kanpur. Apart from continuous rains, strong winds also blew in many areas.

Rain forecast for districts
There is a possibility of rain in many districts of UP. The Meteorological Department has said that light rain is possible in the capital Lucknow. Apart from this, heavy rain is possible in many other districts including Agra, Mathura, Hathras, Prayagraj, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Fatehpur, Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Sonbhadra, Varanasi, Agra, Kannauj, Amethi, Mathura on Thursday.
