Accenture delays promotions globally after denying pay rises to Indian staff

According to a Bloomberg report, Accenture informed employees via an internal blog post that most promotions will now be announced in June 2024, deviating from the traditional December timeline. This change affects the company’s vast workforce of more than 750,000 employees worldwide.

The decision to postpone the promotions is attributed to the current economic uncertainties in the country.
