World Food India 2024: Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta inaugurated the Jharkhand Pavilion at Pragati Maidan in the country’s capital New Delhi. The mega food event ‘World Food India 2024’ will be organised from September 19 to 22 at Pragati Maidan, Delhi. After inaugurating the Jharkhand Pavilion at Hangar No. 1 of Pragati Maidan, Health Minister Banna Gupta said that the main objective of the Jharkhand Pavilion of this mega food event is to encourage people and investors from across the world to invest in our state.

Industries Secretary Jitendra Singh said that this year the Industries Department of the Jharkhand government has set up 13 stalls. In this, 3 stalls belong to the departments or undertakings of the Jharkhand government. The rest are stalls of private institutions. Industries Secretary said that Jharkhand is full of treasures of nature. A large number of products related to food processing are being manufactured. These are sold not only in different parts of the country but also abroad.

People are very fond of mushroom papad, pickles, chutney and jam. People are also fond of sweets and namkeen made from Ragi (a type of millet).
