UPSC Main Exam 2024 Today: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Main exam will begin from today i.e. September 20. More than eight hundred thousand aspirants will take the UPSC Main exam. The exam is the second-highest exam of the year.Second step in the recruitment process for central services and positions.
UPSC Main Exam Time Table 2024:
The main exam will be conducted in two sessions. The morning session will start at 9:00 am and end at 12:00 pm, while the afternoon session will start at 2:30 pm and end at 5:30 pm.
UPSC Main Exam Schedule 2024:
September 20th – Essay
September 21 – General Studies Test I (morning session), General Studies Test II (afternoon session)
September 22 – General Studies Exam III (morning session), General Studies Exam IV (afternoon session)
September 28: Paper A: Indian Language (Morning Session), Paper B: English (Afternoon Session)
September 29 – Test IV (optional test I) (morning session), Test V (optional test II) (afternoon session)
UPSC Main 2024: Things to carry
Candidates may carry Only your e-admit card, pen, pencil, photo ID, copies of personal photographs and any other items specified in the instructions. “Candidates are advised to reach the examination venue in sufficient time so that their entry into the examination venue can be ensured smoothly after observing the necessary protocol. The candidate should note that as per the current Policy of the Commission, the entry into the examination venue is closed 30 minutes before the commencement of the Examination Session,” explains an FAQ document uploaded on the UPSC website.
UPSC Main 2024: Don’t carry these items
The candidates are Mobile phones are not allowed. No electronic devices are allowed on the premises, even when switched off. USB flash drives, smart watches, cameras or Bluetooth devices are also not allowed. Books or bags are also not allowed.
