Vande Metro: Prime minister Narendra Modi India’s first Vande Metro, officially called Namo Bharat Rapid Rail, was inaugurated, connecting Bhuj and Ahmedabad. The train will cover a distance of 360 kilometres in just 5 hours and 45 minutes, reaching a maximum speed of 110 kmph. The service will start operating on September 17 and will offer passengers modern amenities and advanced safety features.
