Recruitment for 1964 positions in the 70th selection competition

The notification for 70th Combined Civil Service Examination of BPSC was released on Friday. BPSC has released the recruitment for 1964 posts. This is said to be the largest vacancy in Combined Civil Service in the history of Bihar Public Service Commission. There is news that its notification will be released tomorrow on the website of Bihar Public Service Commission.

It is said that in this BPSC exam, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) style will be adopted. This has been announced by BPSC Chairman Manu Ravi Bhai Parmar. He said that this time there are vacancies for 1964 posts in BPSC. Last year there were only 475 vacant posts in the 69th batch.

Possibility of receiving 8 to 10 lakh applications

In BPSC 70, the Commission is expecting 8-10 lakh applications this time. Till now, recruitment was done for 400-800 posts. More than 4 lakh applications were received in this regard. This time the number of vacant posts has doubled, the Commission is expecting 8-10 lakh civil service candidates across the country to apply.

Age limit for candidates

The minimum age of candidates applying for this post should be 20-22 years. While the maximum age limit is 37 years for the general category, the Commission has fixed the age limit at 40 years for BC and EBC and 42 years for SC-ST. Persons who are government servants will be given a maximum of five opportunities to appear for these examinations.
