BPSC 70th CCE: There will be recruitment for 1,964 posts in the 70th integrated combined competition conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). There are also 12 vacancies for Child Development Project Officer, for which there will be a separate main examination. The Commission will publish the advertisement for this examination in the next one or two days. November 17 is the probable date of this examination. The BPSC Chairman said that this examination will be held at an early date.

This will be the highest ever vacancy for BPSC. There were 1,469 seats in the 64th Combined Competitive Examination earlier. Due to the large number of vacancies, the BPSC Chairman said that the number of candidates appearing for this examination is likely to be much higher than all the examinations so far. In such a situation, there may be a shortage of examination centres in some districts and there may be difficulties. While conducting the examination, for convenience, it may be arranged in different shifts for two or three days instead of one.

The BPSC chairman said that the exam will be conducted in multiple sets and three or four sets of various colours will be printed for each day. The entire exam can be conducted in the same set of colours and different sets of colours can be used on different days. Different sets of colours can also be used in different districts. Also, instead of four sets of question papers, it will be increased to 10. Like the previous exams, the number of questions will be 150 and negative marking will also be applied and one-third of the marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
