Lissun, which addresses mental health issues, raises $2.5 million

Gurugram-based mental health platform Lissun has raised $2.5 million in a pre-Series A funds round led by RPSG Capital Ventures.

New investors Multiply Ventures and Atrium Angels participated in the round, as did existing investors Ivycap Ventures, Rainmatter and Sucseed Ventures.

Before this round, the startup raised 1.3 million dollars in a seed funding round in September last year led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) and Rainmatter Capital.

The latest investment brings Lissun’s all-time raise to around $5 million.

Scaling up mental health solutions

Founded in 2021 by Dr. Krishna Veer Singh and Tarun Gupta, Lissun aims to address mental health challenges by collaborating with healthcare providers, corporations, and educational institutions.

The Gurugram-based startup focuses on high-stress issues such as chronic illnesses, exam anxiety, and workplace pressure.

“This pre-Series A funding reinforces LISSUN’s mission to solve mental health at scale. It provides us with the crucial resources needed to expand our services, improve our technology, grow our team and increase our reach,” said Dr. Krishna Veer Singh.

Holistic approach to mental health.

Lissun offers a wide range of mental health services through its Sunshine by Lissun division. This branch focuses on child development services and addresses behavioral and neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and learning disorders.

The platform employs a diverse team of psychologists, special educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and behavioral therapists.

These professionals work together to provide personalized care to people who may be unaware of their mental health and developmental issues, offering contextualized support and comprehensive care when they need it.

Presence in the Lissun market

Since its inception, Lissun claims to have impacted over 75,000 lives and conducted over 100,000 mental health sessions.
