WB JELET Counseling 2024: Registration starts today at wbjeeb.nic.in

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will begin the online counseling process for the Joint Entrance Lateral Entrance Test (SIGN) 2024 today, October 3. Candidates who have qualified in the entrance exam can submit their application forms till October 6 at wbjeeb.nic.in. See important dates and other details below:

Registration, payment of registration fee and filling out the election: October 3 to 6, 2024

Options Filling Including Option Locking: October 5-6

WB JELET First Round Seat Allocation Result: October 8

Payment of seat acceptance fee: from October 8 to 15

Presentation to assigned institutes for document verification and admission: October 13 to 15.

Result of the second round of seat allocation: October 17

Payment of quota acceptance fee (For new awardees), presentation of reports to the assigned institutes for document verification and admission and withdrawal from the admission process: October 18 to 20.

The board said this schedule can be changed/altered under any unavoidable circumstances.

Candidates have been asked to exercise extreme caution during the registration process as there will be no further opportunity to edit any information after submitting the application form.

When completing the options, they must organize the institute and course combinations in order of priority.

The board said that if a candidate does not give any option, he will not be given any allotment. They should select maximum possible number of institutes/branches to ensure they get an allotment.

Candidates will be eligible to apply for a seat upgrade in the second round only after accepting the seat allotted in the first round.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) conducts the JELET exam as an OMR-based common entrance test.

It also carries out JELET online counseling for admission to the second year (third semester) of the four-year bachelor’s degrees in Engineering, Technology (except Architecture) and Pharmacy in universities, public schools and self-financed engineering and technology institutes in the state.
