If you regularly use social networks, you have surely come across several Google or Amazon employees who share mini vlogs about life in their offices. With amazing interiors and lots of food, these videos surely make working at these companies seem exciting. Another recent such video is doing the rounds on Instagram, documenting life at LinkedIn’s Bengaluru office. LinkedIn employee and digital creator Raunak Ramteke documented three days of his visit to the Bengaluru branch and gave a glimpse into various elements of the company, including its obsession with food.
Among several interesting things, one that caught our attention was the name of the meeting rooms. The digital creator showed that some rooms in the office are named after Indian sweets, such as ‘Gulab Jamun’ and ‘kayu katli‘. Apart from the delicious food titles, the LinkedIn Bengaluru office also serves delicious food in its cafeteria.

During his three days at the Bengaluru office, Ramteke had idli, sambar and chutney that “tasted divine” and an omelet for breakfast. For lunch, he ate a delicious plate full of rice and sauce, along with a plate full of salad. A look at the table also shows other food options such as thalis and milkshakes. For a snack, I had a vegetable and grilled corn sandwich with a nice cup of cappuccino. The barista also prepared a LinkedIn-branded special coffee with the logo on top using chocolate powder.
The videos generated several interesting comments:
“Anxiety to be in the gulab jamun room,” one Instagram user wrote. Another noted, “They have the hostel mess style plates here too.”

One wrote: “What a classy, classy office.” One impressed viewer added: “Wow you can play here, I love this office.”
