Salvi expressed the need for a product that helps consumers understand what is happening on their devices, especially as the number of banking apps and transactions on mobile phones continues to grow.
Salvi added: “Anti-fraud AI focuses on ensuring that all aspects of fraudulent transactions occurring or fraudulent apps running on your phone, or your credentials being harvested by threat actors, are constantly kept up to date and informed about how they can do it. Protect yourself and your mobile devices from these attacks. So that’s really the product.”
He highlighted that the next launch will be a comprehensive rollout across India, allowing the company to start generating revenue from day one.
Salvi acknowledged that anti-fraud AI represents a new category for Quick Heal, indicating a clear business plan for the coming quarters.
He also pointed out the significant market potential for this product, especially as India approaches a billion-dollar smartphone user base, underlining the immense opportunity to protect these devices with advanced solutions.
Quick Heal was recently named a member of the US Artificial Intelligence Security Institute Consortium, making it the only Indian cybersecurity firm in the group.
The company, which has a market capitalization of Rs 3,486 crore, has seen its shares gain 118% over the last year.
