Last date of registration for GATE 2025 today
IIT Roorkee will conduct the GATE 2025 exam on February 1, 2, 15 and 16, 2025. Around 7 lakh students are expected to appear for the GATE 2025 exam. Maximum number of applications for the branches were submitted last year of Computer Science and Information Technology. Check out exam highlights below.

GATE 2025 Exam Pattern
GATE 2025 exam includes multiple choice and numerical answer questions, candidates have 3 hours to finish the exam. It will be conducted on 30 subjects including CSE, EE, EC, ME and Data Science (DA), among others. The exam will be conducted in computer-based test mode. As many as 65 questions will be asked in the GATE exam for 100 marks.
GATE scores are used for MTech admissions in IITs, NITs and other top government universities and also as eligibility criteria for recruitment in various public sector companies in India.
