RRB has extended the last date for applying for postgraduate level NTPC recruitment by one week. Earlier, the last date of application for 8113 vacancies in the Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) Graduate Level Recruitment was fixed as October 13, 2024, but now it has been extended to October 20. In fact, the Railway Recruitment Board has revised the vacancy table including the vacancies for candidates belonging to the Divyang (PWBD – Persons with Reference Disability) category. After this, Railways decided to extend the last date of application for all categories. According to the new notice, once the application period closes, fees can be deposited until October 21 and 22.

Corrections to the form can be made between October 23 and November 30. Please note that changes will not be possible on the Create an Account form or on the selected RRB option. Only existing PWBD candidates who have completed their form will be able to change their RRB and publication category preference until October 20, 2024. They will not have to pay modification fee for this.

At the same time, the revised vacancy table of university level NTPC recruitment for disabled category has also been released. The last date of application for all categories of candidates for university level NTPC recruitment has been extended from October 20 to October 27.

Details of 5 types of NTPC Postgraduate Level Posts are as follows

Freight Train Manager – 3144 Positions

Chief Commercial and Ticket Supervisor – 1736 positions

Senior Clerk and Typist – 732 posts

Junior Account Assistant and Typist – 1507 posts

Station Master: 994 posts

Selection process:

– There will be CBT in 2 stages (CBT 1 and CBT 2) for all positions.

After this, there will be a Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) / Typing Skill Test as per the post.

A computer-based aptitude test will be conducted for the post of Station Chief.

There will be typing skill test for Senior Secretary with Typist and Junior Accounts Assistant with Typist.

There will be a two-stage CBT for the Freight Train Manager and Senior Commercial Ticket Supervisor. Subsequently, the verification of documents and medical examination will be carried out.

– There will be a negative score of one third of the score for each incorrect answer in CBT.

– Prudent shortlisting of candidates for the second stage of CBT by the RRB will be done at the rate of 15 times the vacancy.

– The first stage CBT will be common for all positions. There will be 100 questions in 90 minutes of CBT. 40 questions will be General Awareness, 30 Mathematics, 30 General Intelligence and Reasoning.

Candidates will be shortlisted for the second stage CBT based on the standardized score of the first stage CBT.

The second stage CBT will also be common for all positions. There will be a 90 minute article in the second stage CBT. There will be 120 questions in CBT. There will be 50 General Awareness questions, 35 Mathematics questions, and 35 Intelligence and General Reasoning questions.
