ISB is ranked 40th among the world’s top 100 B-schools by FT, being the only Indian institute on the list

Indian School of Business (ISB) has secured the 40th rank among the top 100 B-schools in the world. Financial times‘Global Executive MBA (EMBA) ranking for 2024.

ISB is the only Indian business institute in India in the list topped by China Europe International Business School, according to the rankings released on Sunday.

The B-school in India was ranked 8th for having the strongest alumni network, 17th for salaries offered and 19th for salary increase percentage, among other parameters. The average salary of an ISB graduate three years after completing the course is $328,039, while for Chinese it is $536,759. B-schoolaccording to the classifications.

“FT’s EMBA 2024 ranking reflects ISB’s global reputation for academic excellence, including our ability to select top talent and the world-class, research-backed teaching that our students benefit from at the school,” said Professor Deepa Mani, vice dean of academic programs. and digital learning, ISB. “We are delighted that the program has earned a high rating for a variety of employment outcomes, reflecting its strength in meeting the needs and expectations of diverse employers and helping our alumni achieve their career goals. “This ranking encourages our concerted efforts to continue offering the best learning experience to all of our students.”

For this year’s ranking, alumni of the ‘PGPMAX class of 2020’ were surveyed, a course specially designed for seasoned professionals, senior executives and business owners with more than 10 years of work experience. “The program provides participants with the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to create, lead and grow impactful businesses,” the institute said in a press release.

The ranking is based on alumni responses across six criteria including current salary, salary increase, career progression, work experience, goals achieved and the new alumni network category, which assesses the quality of networks, rated by the graduates surveyed, according to the FT EMBA Rankings 2024 website.
