Bihar News: Fees for all government industrial training institutes (ITIs) in Bihar have been fixed. Now, with a fee of just forty rupees per month, children of general category and SC-ST quota will have to pay Rs 20 per month in the government ITI. The Department of Workforce Resources has fixed everything from exam fees to registration fees. Their notification has also been issued by the department.
How much will I have to pay for registration?
According to the notification, students studying in institutions recognized by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) will not have to pay any registration fee. That means no amount will be taken from them. However, general category students studying in government ITIs approved by the State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) will have to pay Rs 100 as registration fee.
At the same time, SC-ST students will have to pay only Rs 50. In addition, the department has also fixed the amount of the bond. Under this, along with general category students, SC-ST category students will have to pay Rs 500. While general category students will have to pay Rs 40 per month as training fee. SC-ST students will have to pay only Rs 20 per month.
This will be the exam fee.
The department has fixed the exam fee. In SCVT recognized ITI, you will have to pay Rs 200 as practical and theory exam fees. SC-ST students will also have to pay only Rs 200. While in NCVT recognized ITI, all categories of students will have to pay Rs 200 as practical exam fee. But students will have to pay Rs 213 as the theory exam fee. GST will have to be paid separately on this amount. The department has clarified that the theory exam fee may increase or decrease. Students must pay the amount set by the General Directorate of Training (DGT) of the Central Government for the theoretical exam.
