New exam date
As per the official notification released by UPPSC, the exam is now expected to be conducted in mid-December 2024. Specific details regarding the exact date and schedule will be communicated to candidates through a separate official communication.
Exam format
The preliminary exam consists of two mandatory assignments, which will be carried out on OMR Sheets.
Each assignment is worth 200 points and candidates will have 2 hours to complete each one. Notably, Exam II is a qualifying exam, with a minimum passing score set at 33%. Candidates must appear for both papers as failure to do so will result in disqualification from the examination process.
How to access the official notice
Candidates who wish to view the official notice regarding the postponement can follow these steps:
- Visit to the officer UPPSC website at uppsc.up.gov.in.
- Click on the link to see the postponed notice of UPPSC PCS Prelims 2024 exam available in the “What’s New” section.
- A new PDF file will open showing all the relevant details.
- Download the document and save a printed copy for future reference.
Registration details
Online registration for UPPSC PCS Prelims started on January 1, 2024 and concluded on January 29, 2024. For more updates and information, candidates are advised to check the official website of UPPSC regularly.
