India vs New Zealand, First Day of Test, Day 2: The first match of the 3-match Test series between India and New Zealand will be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The match could not start due to rain on the first day of this match i.e. Wednesday 16th October. On the second day, Indian team captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first. However, this decision did not prove to be correct as the Indian team collapsed for 46 runs. This is India’s lowest score in a Test innings on its own soil. This is the lowest score of any team in Asia. Matt Henry took 5 wickets and Will O’Rourke got 4 wickets. In response, New Zealand scored 180 runs after losing three wickets in 50 overs at the end of the second day’s play. The New Zealand team has achieved a lead of 134 runs.
