UGC NET Result 2024: Scorecards available, check details here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the University Grants Commission (UGC)-NET June 2024 exam results.

Eligible candidates, who appeared for the prestigious exam, can check and download their score cards from the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. They can also check their results on the alternative website ugcnet.ntaonline.in.

The UGC NET 2024 (Rescheduled) exam was conducted on August 27, 28, 29 and 30 as well as September 2, 3, 4 and 5 in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. It was carried out in two shifts, the first from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the second shift from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The exam was conducted for 83 subjects, including Hindi, English, Sociology, French, Spanish and Visual Arts, among others, in different cities of the country.

The National Testing Agency had published on September 11 the provisional answer keys for the UGC-NET Exam 2024, while the extended objection window closed on September 14.

To check the result and download the score cards, candidates will have to mention their application number and date of birth.

UGC NET Result 2024: Steps to download scorecards

Step 1. Visit the official website of NTA UGC-NET 2024 exam at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Step 2. On the home page, click on the June exam results link.

Step 3. Mention your application number and date of birth as login credentials.

Step 4. Submit details. The result will be displayed on your screen. Download the same and print it for future reference.

Apart from this, candidates can also download their scorecards from DigiLocker. These are the steps to follow:

Step 1. Register on the Digilocker platform by providing your registered mobile number along with Aadhaar card number.

Step 2: After successfully logging in, select the ‘Get more now/Get issued documents’ option on the home page.

Step 3: Select the UGC NET June Exam 2024 option once it is available.

Step 4: Click on the UGC NET certificate or marksheet option and provide your roll number.

Step 5: Click on the checkbox and continue to download your UGC NET certificate.

Students can even check their results by visiting umang.gov.in or downloading the Umang app from Google Play Store or iOS.

The UGC NET, conducted twice a year, is the qualifying examination for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF), Assistant Professorships and admissions to the PhD programme.
