Honda Motorcycle Launches Flex-Fuel CB300F in India: Check Price and Other Details

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced the 2024 Honda CB300F Flex-Fuel motorcycle, marking an important milestone in India’s transition towards green mobility solutions.

This motorcycle is the country’s first 300cc flex-fuel motorcycle, designed to appeal to environmentally conscious riders while maintaining the performance expected of a street fighter.

The CB300F is now available to reserve at Honda BigWing dealerships, priced at $1.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The 2024 Honda CB300F Flex-Fuel is available in two striking colors: Sports Red and Mat Axis Gray Metallic.

Bookings for the CB300F are now open and the motorcycle will be available at Honda BigWing dealerships across India from the last week of October 2024.

At the heart of the new Honda CB300F is a 293.52cc, 4-stroke, oil-cooled, single-cylinder PGM-FI engine. What sets it apart is its compatibility with E85 fuel (a blend of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline), making it an environmentally friendly option without compromising power. The engine produces 18.3 kW of power and 25.9 Nm of torque, ensuring an exciting driving experience.

The CB300F’s engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and features an assisted slipper clutch, which reduces the force required for gear changes and prevents rear wheel hopping during aggressive downshifts. This makes the bike not only powerful but also easy to handle.

The Honda CB300F Flex-Fuel integrates safety with performance, ensuring drivers have a smooth and safe ride. It comes equipped with disc brakes on both the front (276mm) and rear (220mm) wheels, backed by dual-channel ABS, which offers better braking control. The bike also features Honda’s Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), which helps maintain traction on slippery surfaces.

For superior handling, the CB300F features gold-colored USD front forks and a 5-step adjustable monoshock rear suspension, ensuring comfort in different road conditions. The bike’s all-LED lighting system improves visibility and safety while adding a modern aesthetic touch.

Additionally, the motorcycle features a smart ethanol gauge, which alerts riders if the vehicle is filled with gasoline containing more than 85% ethanol, ensuring optimal engine performance and optimal fuel usage.

“At Honda, our goal is to achieve carbon neutrality for all our products and corporate activities by 2050. As part of our commitment to sustainable product innovation, today we introduced the new flex-fuel version of the CB300F, marking a important milestone in our journey to reduce emissions and address India’s energy needs. With over a decade of experience in global flex-fuel technology, Honda has specially developed this motorcycle with Indian customers in mind to perform. a seamless transition to flex fuel for the Indian two-wheeler market,” said Tsutsumu Otani, MD, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India.
