Later more people arrived and the situation worsened. Heavy stone bombardment began from both sides. A large number of people were seen throwing bricks and stones at each other at the intersection.

Thousands of members of the Muslim community took to the streets and strongly demonstrated against Akhil Tyagi’s remarks, calling them an insult to “Allah” and “Nabi”.
Amidst this commotion, some people from the Muslim community allegedly pelted stones. In the footage, the huge crowd appeared out of control. The crowd was seen pushing and shoving police. People also created a lot of commotion on the road. Police officials said the accused who made the post had already been arrested. However, a rumor spread that the police had released the accused. After this many people gathered. The officer said that he had explained to the people (Muslims) and assured them that action would be taken against the accused. Meanwhile, police forces also had to be deployed. A flag march was held in the area. Authorities said peace is currently maintained in the area. He also said that law and order will not be allowed to be affected in any way.
