Pakistan use heaters and fans to prepare pitch for Rawalpindi Test: After a brilliant performance on a tired and broken pitch in the second Test, Pakistan will do everything they can to get the surface in similar condition for Thursday’s decider in Rawalpindi. With the help of a pair of huge windbreaks, two oversized fans, and six patio heaters. Fans were used to further aerate the pitch conditions in Multan ahead of the second Test, with the aim of creating a surface that would provide maximum spin and grip for Pakistan’s spinners. This method was so successful that two of them, Noman Ali and Sajid Khan, took all 20 English wickets and the home team won by 152 runs to level the series.
