In the last hearing, the Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, comprising Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra, asked the Center to file a reply to the petition.
Lawyers Vibha Makhija and Parul Shukla, appearing for the students, told the court that the examination is conducted through bulletins, which are changed at the last minute according to the whims and fancies of the examining agencies.
The petitioners alleged that there was a clear lack of transparency in the conduct of NEET PG 2024 as the question paper, answer sheet and answer key were not provided to the students.

The counseling schedule is awaited.
The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), which provides counseling for all postgraduate medical seats in India quota, is yet to announce the detailed schedule for NEET PG counselling.
The registration process has begun, but dates are awaited for other activities, such as completing options, blocking, assigning seats and reporting. The schedule will be published on mcc.nic.in.
