Patna News: The Labour Resources Department has decided to conduct a door-to-door survey among all the workers in Bihar. In this work, the help of agencies will be needed. These will also be retained in the data collection, so that the complete data of the migrant workers can reach the government at the earliest. The selection of NGOs will be done at the headquarters level, they will be given a target for work and if the work is not completed on time, the NGO will be removed from this work. Preparations for conducting the survey at the departmental level have been completed. Soon after the selection of the agency, the work will begin from September.

Patna News: Family report of migrant workers to be prepared

Following the instructions of the state government, all migrant workers from Bihar will be counted and their family report will also be prepared. The department has sent guidelines to all districts in this regard. According to departmental officials, thousands of people from Bihar go to work in the country and abroad, but even the government does not have the exact data. Due to this, the Labour Resources Department sometimes faces difficulties in estimating the number of migrant workers.

The campaign will go door to door.

Comprehensive data of migrant workers will be collected through a door-to-door campaign across the state, where complete information about their family status will be available. Besides, details of work done by Bihari migrant workers in other states or abroad will also be taken, so that the work of such migrant workers can also be expanded in the state. After the survey of the workers working in the state, the skills can also be expanded. Their level will be determined. Assessment will be done and their employment will be arranged.
