All candidates must carry a copy of the admit card and a valid original photo ID to the examination venue. They will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without these documents.

ADRE Grade 3 Exam: What is allowed inside the exam room?

Candidates may carry a copy of the admit card, a blue or black pen, a photo ID and plastic cards such as a credit or debit card or a driver’s license. They may also carry a minimum amount of cash inside the examination hall.

Candidates must carry at least one photo identity proof like Aadhaar card, PAN card, Driving license etc. with matching photo and name.

ADRE exam grade 3: What is prohibited?

Candidates are not allowed to bring any books, papers, mobile phones, calculators, any electronic devices or any objectionable materials into the examination venue.

There will be no arrangements for the storage of personal belongings and candidates will be required to make their own arrangements for their safekeeping.

Candidates must ensure that they do not bring any prohibited items into the examination venue. Failure to comply with the rules will result in disqualification and legal action.

All candidates are requested to arrive at the exam venue at least one hour early to allow for the mandatory registration process.

Instructions on OMR

The exam will be marked negatively. For all questions on the exam, candidates must tick at least one option. Selecting multiple options and choosing the wrong option will result in negative marking.

All necessary drafting should be done only in the space provided in the question booklet. If anything other than the requested information is written on the OMR sheet and the option is checked, the answers will not be evaluated.

Once the exam is over, all candidates must hand in their OMR sheets, question papers and sign Form 8 provided by the invigilator. Failure to do so will result in being marked absent.

Internet shutdown

On Saturday, the Assam government ordered suspension of mobile internet services across the state for three and a half hours in a bid to curb possible malpractices and facilitate smooth conduct of the Grade 3 examination. Internet services will not remain operational between 10 am and 1.30 pm on September 15.

It is noteworthy that mobile internet services were suspended for four hours in almost all districts for two days in August 2022 when the final recruitment examination for grade 3 and 4 posts was held.

According to the notification, 11,23,204 candidates are eligible to appear for the test, which is being conducted at 2,305 centres across the state.
