Jaipur News: A huge protest is going on in Jaipur against the lynching of a youth riding a scooter. On Saturday, angry people took to the streets and started creating ruckus. There was a huge tension in the area. Following which security forces were deployed at the spot. Police said that after the death of the youth, local people demonstrated in front of the Shastri Nagar police station and demanded the arrest of the accused involved in the case.
Police appealed to maintain harmony
The police administration has appealed to the people to maintain communal harmony. Also, it has been requested not to pay heed to any kind of rumours. The police administration has assured that it will soon arrest the two accused who are absconding. Jaipur Police said that three accused have been identified and one accused has been arrested in connection with the incident that took place at Shastri Nagar Police Station, Jaipur. A humble appeal is made to the people of Jaipur to maintain peace and harmony and not pay heed to any kind of rumours.
Electric rickshaw driver and his accomplices beat up a young man and killed him
On Friday night, an e-rickshaw driver and his two associates allegedly assaulted a youth in the Shastri Nagar police station area of Jaipur, resulting in his death.
Young man beaten to death after mutual dispute
According to the police, on Friday evening a scooter and an e-rickshaw collided following which a fight broke out between the scooter driver and the e-rickshaw driver and his two companions. After the incident, the scooter driver and the e-rickshaw driver headed to their respective homes. After reaching home, the condition of the scooter driver Dinesh Swami (36) deteriorated and he died. Dinesh was also accompanied by his friend Jitendra Swami, a resident of Swami Basti of Shastri Nagar police station.
One arrested for murder of young man
There were three people travelling in the rickshaw, one of whom, Shahrukh, has been arrested, while the remaining two are being booked. Police said that it is a case of road rage, in which one accused has been arrested and two others are being sought.
