“We request the government to expedite the update of the 2020 draft of the Data Center Policy. Indian data should stay in Indian data centers,” he said, adding that companies setting up AI and machine learning data centers should be incentivized, including by supporting energy consumption.
Ambani also addressed concerns about job displacement due to AI, noting that just like during the adoption of computers and the Internet, new opportunities will arise.
