AKTU BTECH Course Credit System: Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University and affiliated colleges have made changes in the credit system of B.Tech course for the session 2024-25. If you are also taking admission in AKTU or looking forward to admission, then you must read this news. Changes have been made in the credit system so that students can be prepared for new ventures and entrepreneurship. The university has published the information related to the changes in the credit system on its official portal.

Please be informed that the rule of changing the credit system will not be implemented for first year students. The change in credit system will be initiated from second year students in the academic session 2024-25. The Vice Chancellor of the University has said that in the fifth and seventh semester of the B.Tech course, students will have to take the subject of internship or mini project assessment. A new subject will be added in the seventh semester of the fourth or final year of the B.Tech course. The credit for this subject will be 2. It will be mandatory for students to take internship or mini project assessment or startup and entrepreneurship study.

This credit system has been initiated to increase entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship among students. If students get the basic training and knowledge to open a startup during their studies, after completing their studies, they should think about opening their own startup instead of doing a job. If a student studies startups and entrepreneurship properly, he or she can get a maximum of 15 credits from these activities in the fifth, seventh and eighth semesters.
