Lucknow: By-elections will be held for 10 seats in UP (UP News). BJP, SP, Congress and BSP have finalised preparations to win the elections. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken charge of the prestigious Milkipur seat. Samajwadi Party and Congress have deployed officers in all the seats for the by-elections. Candidates for many seats have also been finalised. However, so far the Election Commission has not announced any date for the by-elections for these seats.

Apart from this, Cabinet Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, State Ministers Mayankeshwar Singh, Girish Yadav and Satish Sharma have also taken over the responsibility of Milkypur. Anil Kumar, Somendra Tomar, KP Malik on Meerapur seat, Dharampal Singh, JPS Rathore, Jaswant Saini, Gulab Devi on Kundarki seat, Sunil Sharma, Brijesh Singh, Kapildev Aggarwal on Ghaziabad seat, Lakshmi Narayan Choudhary on Khair seat (R), Sandeep Singh, Jaiveer Singh, Yogendra Upadhyay, Ajit Pal Singh on Karhal seat , Suresh Khanna, Nitin Aggarwal in Sisamau seat, Rakesh Sachan, Dayashankar Singh in Phulpur seat, Katehari Swatantra Dev Singh, Sanjay Nishad, Dayashankar Mishra, Anil Rajbhar in Majhwa seat. , Ashish Patel, Ravindra Jaiswal and Ramkesh Nishad were left in charge.

Samajwadi Party declared responsible for six seats

The main opposition party in UP, the Samajwadi Party, has declared incharges for six of the 10 seats up for assembly by-elections. The special thing is that out of the seats where by-elections are being held, 4 seats have fallen vacant due to SP MLAs being elected as MPs. The SP will have to work hard to regain these seats. The Milkipur reserved seat is also included in this. The Samajwadi Party has appointed Shivpal Singh Yadav as incharge of the Katehari seat. Awadhesh Prasad and Lal Bihari Yadav were given incharge of the Milkipur reserved seat, Virendra Singh of the Majhwan seat, Chandradev Yadav of the Karhal seat, Inderjit Saroj of the Phulpur seat, Rajendra Kumar of the Sisamau seat.

Congress is also in the running

The Congress has also entered the fray in the UP Assembly by-elections. It has demanded some seats from its ally Samajwadi Party. It is believed that the seats for which the Samajwadi Party has not declared itself responsible may be given to the Congress. However, the Congress has declared itself responsible for all 10 seats. The Congress has appointed Kishori Lal Sharma MP from Sisamau seat, Imran Masood MP from Meerapur seat, Rakesh Rathore MP from Kundarki seat, Tanuj Punia MP from Ghaziabad seat, Virendra Chaudhary MP from Majhwan seat, Ujjwal Raman Singh MP from Phulpur seat, Naseemuddin Siddiqui MP from Milkipur reserved seat, Akhilesh Pratap Singh, Rajkumar Rawat from Khair reserved seat, Ramnath Shikarwar MP from Karhal seat. The list of in-charges has been released by state party president Ajay Rai.
