What’s a wedding without good food? Actors Amy Jackson and Ed Westwick’s wedding in southern Italy was a dream come true. The couple shared details of their special day, including a candlelit dinner and a stunning wedding cake. wedding cakeDesigned by chef Damiano Carrara, it featured the couple’s initials, a two-tiered textured design, and vanilla frosting on the bottom. The dessert table was named after Amy’s parents, Carole and Peter. The next slide gave us a look inside the party, but what caught our eye was the illuminated dining table decorated with white roses.

Guests were seen sipping red wine and champagne as they enjoyed the feast. Guests at Amy and Ed’s wedding also savoured oysters with a squeeze of lemon. Speaking about their delicious wedding menu, Amy and Ed wrote: “We stopped by a dessert table named after our beloved Carole and Peter to cut our cake designed by the incredible chef Damiano Carrara.”

The five-tier cake was beautifully made with white chocolate and candied roses, vanilla cream and the base was a choux pastry cookie, the bride revealed in an interview with FashionShe said the cake was finished with raspberry jelly and looked extremely delicious. Amy Jackson also spoke about the other dishes at her wedding, including tortelloni, ravioli, and more. “Our guests really enjoyed the tortelloni with Neapolitan-style endive, restrained anchovy sauce, and black truffle, the ravioli with beef stracciatella, smoked provolone, and chestnut fondue, and the gnocchi with asparagus fondue, guanciale, dates, and caciocavallo cheese. Equally tasty is the snapper with langoustines and clam guazzetto sauce, perfectly paired with roasted endive.” Since Amy is a vegetarian, there were some equally delicious vegetarian dishes on the menu.
